Let's Wiki!!!

You have a couple options getting started with your wiki. The first thing you have to do is get accounts for your students.  You have have a couple options.  You can have them create their own accounts with their email addresses like we did in class.  The address in on my side bar.  If you prefer to have greater control you can create accounts for your students and establish the passwords.  If some students do not have email you can create as many student accounts as you wish.   Creating student accounts is very simple I have instructions below.  I have word document below for students creating their own accounts below as well.

 Creating Student Accounts.

1.  go to your wiki and log in

2.  Click on settings while in view mode.

3.  Click on the word users on the left hand side.

4.  at the top of the page will be a box for creating accounts for students without email. 

     Follow the steps and you are ready to go. 

5.  Since you are creating the accounts you do not have to worry about granting access (I believe) so it is more work at the beginning for you but you have greater control.

6.  If you do have to grant access just click approve next to their name.
