Going Multimedia
Inserting Images, videos, or even documents is very easy to do and can enhance your wiki. Let's start with Images and documents. The first thing you need to do is upload the file to your wiki. In edit mode you will see Insert links on the right hand side. Click on "Images and files" and a list of the files in your wiki will appear underneath. Keep in mind that anyone who can edit the page has access to the files you upload. Click browse, find the picture you want in your computer, click open and then upload, The file will appear below. Place the cursor where you wish the file to appear and simply click the image or document file. The image or file will appear. It is just that easy.
Inserting Videos
This is even easier than inserting images or documents. find your video on YouTube, TeacherTube, or save a video to your computer. If your video is in your computer you need to upload it by following the steps below.
1. In edit mode click on the Insert Plugin and choose videos
2. Select Upload video and the instructions that follow.

While editing your wiki page open up another browser tab or explorer window.
2. Find a video that you with to insert and copy the "embed code"
3. Click the text in the box once (it will turn blue), right click and hit copy
4. Re-open your wiki page and click the Insert plugin icon. select videos and YouTube video
(It is ok if it is TeacherTube, it will work.)
5. You have already copied the code, so just right click, paste in the box, and click preview
6. Click Ok if the correct video is in the window,
7. A Youtube window will appear on your edit page, Once you hit save the video will be on your page.
8. That is it. Keep in mind that YouTube videos will be blocked on our network but students can view them at home. Teachertube is open.
