Wiki's Rule
1. Only one person can edit a page at a time. Lots of people can be logged into a wiki but only one person can edit a page.
2. ALWAYS HIT SAVE AFTER MAKING CHANGES TO A WIKI PAGE
3. Log out when you are finished working on the wiki site.
4. If you put a video in your wiki, and you are going to use it in class. Watch it at least once on the computer you will use in class. This will prevent a delay for its initial use.
5. Editing a wiki is just like using Microsoft Word. If you can type a paper, you can edit a wiki.
6. Let your students do most of the creating on your wiki, It is your canvas, Let them be the artist.
7. Develop your own Acceptable Use Policy for your wiki, in addition to our existing one.
8. Leave feedback on your student's pages using comments, or adding text onto the existing document.
REMEMBER IT IS PUBLIC, OTHER STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO SEE COMMENTS AND EDITS.
9. HIT SAVE EVERYTIME YOU HAVE FINISHED EDITING A PAGE.
10. Writer is an acceptable permission level for anyone you wish to edit your pages or create new ones..
11. Did I mention to save everytime you have finished editing.
